On Friday, we had our annual Chinese Lunar New Year Celebration! The students in CMS, CHS, and Chinese Club put on wonderful performances displaying cultural dances, music, and plays. Happy Lunar New Year!






The dates for the Board of Education meetings in March and April have changed. The March meeting will now be held on March 17, 2025, and the April meeting will take place on April 28, 2025. Both meetings will begin at the usual time of 7:30pm.

The 8th grade vs. faculty volleyball tournament made its return today, bringing plenty of excitement and intense effort from both teams before winter break!

The CHS Orchestra, Choir and Band rang in winter break by performing fun holiday songs for the CMS today! Great job to all performers!




CMS students in the Chinese Class Table Tennis Tournament did great! This event took place yesterday at the Lily Yip Table Tennis Center in Dunellen. Our students were in the top 3 rankings:

The School District of the Chathams is currently accepting letters from Chatham Borough and Chatham Township resident families interested in having their toilet trained 3 or 4 year olds attend our CHatham Inclusion Preschool Program. CMS Woodwind Ensemble had a great presentation at the library yesterday! Students showcased their musical talent by performing live and offering an interactive experience, where audience members had the opportunity to explore and learn about the instruments firsthand.


Congratulations to the CMS Tacocat Robotics Team #34043! This past Saturday, they competed at the FIRST Lego League Robotics Regional Qualifies competition at Mt Olive HS with 30 other teams. The Tacocats were awarded 2nd Place Robot Performance and the Engineering Excellence Award! The team will also be advancing to the Regional Championships and compete against 80 teams from the Northern NJ/PA East Region in December.
