CHS cast of Macbeth performed at Montclair State's Theatre Night Awards and takes home Best Production of an Elevated Language Play. Andrew Krautheim won Best Actor in this category and won Best Overall Actor out of 132 productions. #Chatheatre

Jazz bands in grades 5-12 performed at SDOC District Jazz Night. Students and audience members alike celebrated how jazz brings together talent of all levels to create unique music each and every time a piece is played. CHS welcomed 8th Graders and their parents yesterday for orientation. Students received building tours by Links leaders to facilitate a smooth transition next year. Mark your calendars the District Art Show is May 20 and 21st from 6:30-8:30 P.M. We are excited to announce special hours for Senior Citizens. Seniors are invited on May 21 from 10 AM - 12 PM. Student artists will act as docents during the Senior viewing hours.

On Saturday, April 27th, the Chatham High School Key Club hosted its seventh Outreach Meal Packing event, at which students prepared 15,000 ready-to-heat meals. We are proud of the students who volunteered for this event.

Theatre Studio and Stagecraft classes at Chatham High School went to see The Notebook on Broadway. CHS class of 2017 graduate and Theatre Alumni, Kimberly Scaglione, came to speak with both groups about her experience as a Production Assistant on the show. We love reconnecting with alumni and hearing how they are applying what they have learned in their careers.
