School District of the Chathams welcomes Holocaust Survivor Maud Dahme back to present to parent and community members on the evening of Thursday, March 7 at 7 PM in the Chatham High School Auditorium. Maude Dahme has a remarkable and inspiring story that we are excited to share with the community at large. This program is made possible by the Chatham Education Foundation and the New Jersey Commission on Holocaust Education.

Chatham High School teachers and Chinese language students taught LAF students how to write chines characters in calligraphy as part of Social Emotional Learning Day.
LAF celebrated Valentines day by holding a food drive. Students donated 1,300 pounds of food to Market Street Mission, the Community Food Bank of New Jersey and Table of Hope. Thanks to ShopRite for donating bags to facilitate distribution.

The sold out 5th grade musical The Little Mermaid Jr. opens this weekend at LAF. The cast performed a sneak peak for all the students yesterday. Students have been rehaearsing since the early fall and did an outstanding job yesterday! We can't wait for for opening night on Friday, January 26th at 6:30 P.M.
