Dear WAS Parents and Families,
I can hardly believe we've reached the end of another school year! Looking back, it has truly been a wonderful one, filled with memories I hope you and your children will hold close for years to come. None of it would have been possible without you — your presence, your support, and the trust you place in us every single day. Thank you for being such an essential part of everything we do at WAS.
From our New Family Picnic, to pumpkin picking and the Halloween parade, to the Book Fair and Glow Party, our concerts, Kindergarten Paint with Me, Field Day, and our visits with the ECLC — what a year to remember. I'm so grateful to the many parents who showed up, pitched in, and brought these moments to life alongside us.
A heartfelt thank you to our PTO Board and all of our incredible members and volunteers, whose time and generosity made so much of this possible. Your dedication does not go unnoticed, and our school community is richer for it.
To our Kindergarten and new families: I hope this first year at WAS exceeded your expectations. Thank you for trusting us with your children, and welcome — we're so happy you're part of the WAS family.
To our Grade 2 families "graduating" your final child from WAS: it has been a true privilege to know you and your children over the years. Thank you for everything you've given to this school. You will always have a home here, and we hope you'll stay in touch.
As this year closes, I also want to express my deepest gratitude to Mrs. LaCorte, Mrs. Paulson, and Mrs. Hill, who are beginning an exciting new chapter as they head into retirement. They have poured their hearts into this school and touched the lives of so many of your children. Please join me in thanking them and wishing them every happiness ahead.
To all of our families: thank you for a wonderful year. Wishing you a safe, joyful, restful, and memory-filled summer.
With sunshine and smiles in my heart,
Mrs. Dudlo
