🕰️ Did you know there’s a time capsule buried at Lafayette Avenue School?
Back in 1976, during the Bicentennial celebration, a time capsule was buried right in front of the LAF flagpole. Today members of the Buildings and Grounds team, Ken Taylor and Steve Regan, assisted in excavating the The Jerseymen's Club Lafayette Middle School time capsule. The unearthing was attended by former teachers and current LAF principal Cheryl Russo.🎉
Students will get a chance to explore what’s inside during a special assembly in June, joined by former students and teachers from 1976. Among those present today were (L - R) Steve Regan, Ken Taylor, Cheryl Russo, Karen Golashesky/Wen (Home Economics), Grace Gluck (Art), Michael Chupka (former student and English teacher), and Bob Gluck (Industrial Arts)
Stay tuned to see what's inside! 🕰️📦⏳
