CMS sixth graders attended a meaningful presentation by Maud Dahme, a Holocaust survivor and educator. One of only about 100,000 Jewish children to survive the Holocaust, Ms. Dahme shared her experience as a hidden child in the Netherlands. Her story offered powerful lessons in courage, hope, and resilience.
Thank you to Ms. Calamari and Ms. Quintero, CMS 6th grade ELA teachers, for bringing Ms. Dahme to CMS.

Chatham High School Orchestra teacher Liam Keller has been selected to be the conductor of the Region One Intermediate Orchestra this year.
Mr. Keller said, “I was honored to be asked to conduct. It is always such a thrill to work with such high level and dedicated young musicians, and I hope to be able to share a bit of what makes the Chatham Orchestra Program so special with these students. I can't wait to give the students the opportunity to perform some of my favorite pieces in front of a packed house of music lovers."
The concert will take place on February 15th at Parsippany-Troy Hills High School.
