Among the many wonderful visitors, two fan favorites helped make the day extra special for our youngest readers — Dr. Sortino, Superintendent, and Mrs. DeSantis, Supervisor of Health & Wellness. Their stories, smiles, and love of reading made it a memorable day for our students!
❤️📖 #ReadAcrossAmerica

Yesterday, Milton Avenue School celebrated Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day as part of Read Across America Week with the theme “Exploring Nature Through Books!” 🌿📚
The Environmental Committee shared some of their families’ favorite fiction and nonfiction books about nature—from hikes and insects to animals and the great outdoors.
Students also shared how books have helped them learn about nature and grow their love of reading. Participants wrote down their favorite titles and proudly signed their names after walking to school!
🌸 Spring is just around the corner!
