Lafayette Avenue School wrapped up an exciting One Book, One School month of reading this week! The school read I Survived The Great Alaska Earthquake and I Survived The Shark Attacks of 1916 by Lauren Tarshis.📚✨
Students put their teamwork to the test during LAF’s annual Escape Room, designed by library para Stephanie Azzaro. Trapped in an Alaskan mine, they worked together to solve puzzles and unlock their way to safety—what an adventure! 🧩🔐
Next up: students are eagerly counting down the days until they meet author Lauren Tarshis on May 7th! 🙌📖
