We enjoyed welcoming new families to CMS last Friday. Families has an opportunity to meet the leadership team and ask questions. Pro-Leaders then gave guided tours of the building. Thanks to the PTO and the New Family Welcome Committee for coordinating this event!

The power may be out at CMS today, but the sky was lit up by the Chatham Borough Volunteer Fire Department with the traditional July 4th fireworks display. This year ended with some extra sparkle to celebrate the fire department's 125th Anniversary.

CMS theatre arts students performed Kamp Kaos, Oliver Twist, Winnie the Pooh and Legally Blonde Jr. to close out the Spring Semester. CMS students direct, act, create sets and act as stage crew for these productions, CHS interns act as producers. #SDOCcms




3rd graders visited LAS last week for move up day. Students were welcomed to the school by Principal Russo. 5th graders acted as tour guides to acclimate students to the building. School coiunselors and HPE teachers led students through a team building activity. #SDOLAS

Students at CMS made ramekins to sell at the District Art Show to raise money for the Chatham Community Food Distribution at Chatham United Methodist Church. Katrina Keeshan, CMS art teacher, spearheaded this initiative and dropped off a $500 donation yesterday. #sdocgivesback
