The CHS boys track & field team repeated as NJSIAA Section 2, Group 3 state champions this weekend at Warren Hills High School with an incredible team effort and a total of 97 points!
🏃 Marcus Valenzuela and Thomas Haines finished 1-2 in both the 1600 and 3200
🏅 Kevin Grundy captured the triple jump title and placed in three events
💪 Krish Patel earned second place in the javelin

No. 2-seeded CHS Boys Lacrosse delivered a statement win on Tuesday night, defeating top-seeded Delbarton, ranked No. 2 in New Jersey, 12-7 to capture the program’s FIRST EVER Morris County Tournament Championship in the tournament’s 38-year history!

🎻 Congratulations to Chatham High School Orchestra teacher Mr. Liam Keller on being named a quarterfinalist for the prestigious 2027 Music Educator Award, presented by the Recording Academy and Grammy Museum!
Mr. Keller was selected from an impressive pool of more than 2,100 nominations, recognizing his dedication, passion, and impact as a music educator. Bravo on this outstanding achievement! 👏🎶

Chosen from a highly competitive pool of over 275 auditions, fewer than half of the students were selected—and our CMS singers didn’t just make it, they ranked in the top half of their sections! 🎉
The All-State Choir (grades 4–6 and 7–9) rehearsed on April 25 and will perform on May 2 in Flemington, NJ.
