• Step 2: After connecting your device to the wireless hotspot using Step 1, you will need to install a certificate in order to properly communicate with the SDOC's web filtering service and access the Internet. Please following the steps below that pertain to your device's platform.

    *Later in the fall of 2019, Securly's current SSL Certificate will expire.  Securly has provisioned a brand new SSL Certificate which expires in 2034.  While you only need to install the current SSL Certificate to get up and running now, we recommend that you install both at the same time so that you do not need to perform any additional steps when the current one expires.

  • 1. Download the certificate using the link below.

    2. Open with defaults.

    3. Provide your screen lock password when prompted.

    4. At the "Name the certificate" screen, give the certificate a name of your choice and tap OK.

  • 1. Using Safari, download the certificate using the links below.

    2. Click on the downloaded file and press the Install button.

    3. Press the Install Now button when prompted with the warning message, "Installing this profile will change settings on your iPad/iPhone."
