The FAFSA is a MUST to complete. Within the FASFA you can apply for federal and state financial aid.

All loans and many grants will only be processed if you have completed the FAFSA.

The FAFSA opens in December 2023 not October 1 - Official Date TBD

The December launch date will apply only for the 2024-2025 FAFSA form. The application will revert to October 1 for the 2025-2026 form.

How will I know when the FAFSA opens?

  • New applicants need to create a StudentAid.gov account

  • Past applicants need to log in to StudentAid.gov to confirm the email student and parent address on file

  • StudentAid.gov will email the launch dated to registered student and parent accounts once announced,
