The Philosophy Club is a forum for intellectual discussion about the world. The members of the club engage in many activities, from weekly meetings focused on particular schools of philosophy, to school-wide speaking engagements with philosophers, to field trips. The field trips focus on the practical application of philosophical thought within the world, and destinations range from urban farms to independent media outlets. Students rotate creating presentations for weekly meetings, and discussions are inquiry based-- we always address questions. Our mission is to broaden appreciation within the entire student body for the relevance and importance of the study of philosophy.
