    The CHS girls varsity golf team fell to  4-13 on the year after being defeated by Morris Tech by a score of 208 to 226 yesterday at Mt. Tabor Country Club.  The Chatham High School team was led by juniors Heather Ivans (53) and Christine Doherty (54)

    Varsity--Chatham 183 - Morristown 216
     

    The CHS varsity team defeated Morristown High School by a score of 183 to 216 to improve their team record to 3-12 on the year.  The team score of 183 (51 over par) was the team's best score relative to par for the year!  The team performed well because 3 of its 4 players shot a personal best nine hole round and all 4 players shot their best 9 hole round of the year! 

    Heather Ivans = 40 (7 over par) = PERSONAL BEST!

    Christine Doherty = 44 (11 over par) = PERSONAL BEST!

    Emily Fuller = 49 (16 over par) = PERSONAL BEST!

    Ella Mercer = 50 (17 over par) = Best 9 hole score of the year!"

    The Chatham High School girls varsity golf team fell to Morristown Beard School yesterday 239 to 225 while playing the par 38 front 9 at the Morris County Golf Club.  Chatham was led by juniors Heather Ivans (53) and Alexa Riso (59)

    Madison 225 - Chatham 230
     
    The Chatham High School girls varsity golf team lost two close matches yesterday versus Madison High School and Villa Walsh at Spring Brook Country Club in Morristown, NJ.  Chatham shot a team score of 230, but lost Villa Walsh who shot a 228 and Madison High School who shot a 225.  Chatham was led by juniors Heather Ivans who fired a 53 and Christine Doherty who fired a 54

    The Chatham High School girls varsity golf team competed against Oak Knoll School, Millburn High School, and Kent Place School on Tuesday at Canoe Brook Country Club (front nine of the south course - par 37).  Chatham fired a team score of 220, but fell to Millburn by one stroke (219), Oak Knoll School (210), and Kent Place School (205).  Chatham was lead by Junior Heather Ivans who fired 12 over par 49 while taking no penalties and have in 1.77 putts per hole average.  Juniors Ella Mercer (57) and Christine Doherty (57) also contributed to the team overall score while Marley McSweeney (57) shot a personal best round of 20 over par

    The CHS girls varsity team finished yesterday's match against both Westfield High School and Mount Saint Dominic Academy at Echo Lake Country Club (back nine par 36) with a 1-1 record.  Chatham fired its best team score of the year (219 = 16 strokes better than its previous team score) because EVERY player shot her best score of the year with every player scoring below 60!  The team record is now 2-6 on the year.

    Chatham (219) vs. Mount Saint Dominic (255) = WIN

    Chatham (219) vs. Westfield (177) = Loss

    The Chatham High School girls varsity golf team competed in against five teams in blustery conditions yesterday at Essex Fells Country Club (back nine = par 37) in Caldwell, NJ.  The CHS team score of 236 led to a victory against Mount Saint Dominic Academy (259), but losses to Westfield High School (199), Morristown Beard School (231), Millburn High School (227), and Oak Knoll (228)

    The Chatham High School girls varsity golf team fell to Kent Place School yesterday at Canoe Brook Country Club in its first competitive match of the year 197 to 235.  Chatham was led by juniors Heather Ivans (53) and Christine Doherty (58).  Also contributing to the team score were juniors Emily Fuller (59) and Alexa Riso (61).
