    Varsity--Summit 2 - Chatham 0


    Luc Curragh and Delmer Argenal both found the back of the net as fourth-seeded Summit defeated 13th-seeded Chatham, 2-0, in the first round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 Tournament in Summit.

    Argenal added an assist to his total as James Ford made six saves. Peter De Maria stopped seven shots on net for Chatham.

    Summit will face fifth-seeded Cranford, a 3-2 winner over 12th-seeded Rahway, in the quarterfinal round.






    Varsity--Morris Hills 1 - Chatham 0

    Husam Almanakly scored a second half goal off an assist from Martin Ramos Vargas to give Morris Hills a 1-0 victory over Chatham in Chatham.

    Goalie Frankie Mastras earned the win and shutout posting four saves.

    Chatham keeper Peter De Maria made saves.






    Varsity--Chatham 1 - Montville 0


    Brian Guimond converted a pass from Harrison Shi in the 68th minute to give Chatham a 1-0 boys soccer victory over Montville on Monday.

    The Cougars kept up the intensity on offense in the ensuing minutes, firing two shots off the post and crossbar in the span of less than a minute.

    The Mustangs had one last chance to get the equalizer with 13 seconds left with a free kick from roughly 40 yards out, but the kick was headed out of bounds as the clock ran out.





    Varsity--Sparta 2 - Chatham 1


    Eric DaSilva had one of two Sparta goals in its 2-1 win over Chatham in Sparta. The game-winning goal was an own goal. Alban Ukaj made four saves in the win.



    Varsity--Chatham 3 - West Morris Central 2


    Giordan Carbini scored two goals but it was not enough for West Morris at it lost 3-2 to Chatham in Chatham. Michael Shea and Nolan Schaffer added an assist apiece for West Morris.




    Varsity--Chatham 1 - Morristown 0

    Harrison Shi scored in the second half to give Chatham the win over Morristown, 1-0, in Chatham. Goalkeeper Peter De Maria made seven saves for Chatham, which picked up its second shutout of the season.




    Varsity--Delbarton 5 - Chatham 0


    Liam McSorley led a balanced attack with two goals as Delbarton, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, took care of Chatham, 5-0, in Chatham.

    Kian Alberto, Harrison Cooley, and Ivan Scotto all scored as well for Delbarton, which led 3-0 at the half. Chris Norriega and Scotto chipped in with two assists and one assist respectively. In goal, Kyle Swift (three) and Derek Polanco (one) combined to make four saves and a shutout.




    Varsity--Roxbury 1 - Chatham 0

    Doddi Pincay scored the lone goal of the game off an assist from Ryan Hayford in the second overtimes session.





    Varsity--West Morris Mendham 1 - Chatham 0

    Calvin Ryan scored two goals and had one assist as Mendha defeated Chatham  3-0, in Chatham.

    Stephen Ryan netted one goal and Jack Journeycake got the shutout with five saves for Mendham, which scored two goals in the first half.



    Varsity--Chatham 1 - Randolph 0


    Andrea Chevalier scored for Chatham and Peter DeMaria recorded the shut out for the Cougars.




    Varsity--Delbarton 3 - Chatham 0


    Kian Alberto had a goal and two assists to give Delbarton, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, a 3-0 victory over Chatham in Morristown

    Brendan McSorley added a goal and an assist, while Mark Forbes chipped in with one goal for Delbarton. Kyle Swift made four saves and Derek Polanco had one save to combine on the shutout.




    Varsity--West Morris Mendham 4 - Chatham 0


    Calvin Ryan, Nick Sullivan, Hans Gallagher and James Jeffs had one goal each for Mendham in its 4-0 win over Chatham.

    Sean McDonald led Mendham with two assists, and Ryan Carkhuff made fives saves in net to preserve the shutout for Mendham.




    Varsity--Chatham 2 - Morristown 1 (OT)


    Brian Guimond scored the game winner in overtime. Jack Weber finished a free kick of the foot of Nick DiMaggio.



    Varsity--Caldwell 2 - Chatham 1


    Carson Filion scored the lone goal of the game for Caldwell in its 1-0 victory over Chatham in Caldwell.

    Ethan Layton had the assist for Caldwell, and Thomas Healy made eight saves in net to secure the shutout victory.
