    Varsity--Chatham 55 - Orange 45

    Ryan Doherty scored 14 points to lead second-seeded Chatham to a 55-45 win over 15th-seeded Orange in the first round of the NJSIAA North 2, Group 3 tournament in Chatham.

    Chatham led 15-4 at the end of the first quarter and took a 25-15 lead into the half. Orange rallied back by scoring 27 points in the fourth quarter, but the home team held onto the lead.

    Chris Conlin added on 12 points to the win, while Dan Baker chipped in 10 points.

    Chatham will face Gov. Livingston in the quarterfinals on Wednesday.

    Varsity--Chatham 57 - Montville 49

    Andrew Bergman led Chatham with 12 points in its 57-49 win over Montville in Montville.

    Jack Rooney added 11 points in the win, while Chris Conlin scored 10. Chatham outscored Montville 30-19 in the second half, including a 19-11 fourth quarter.

    Zach Warech led Montville with 17 points and seven rebounds.

    Varsity--Chatham 61 - Morristown 33
    Morris County Tournament Semifinal

    Mac Bredahl put up 16 points for top-seeded Chatham in its 61-33 win over 13th-seeded Morristown in the semifinal round of the Morris County Tournament in Chatham.

    Andrew Bergman added 13 points in the win.

    Morristown defeated fourth-seeded Montville 49-43 in the second round, followed by a 50-35 win over 12th-seeded Mountain Lakes in the quarterfinals.

    Chatham will face third-seeded Delbarton in the final on Saturday.

    Varsity--Columbia 48 - Chatham 36

    Jack Rooney scored 10 points but it was not enough for Chatham as it lost 48-36 to Columbia in Chatham.

    Andrew German added seven points and Chris Conlin chipped in six for Chatham.

    Varsity--Millburn 52 - Chatham 45 (OT)

    Jack Rooney became Chatham's  all-time leading scorer, scoring his 1,311th point to pass Billy Oliver, but the milestone came in a 52-45 overtime loss to  Millburn in Chatham.

    Rooney surpassed the milestone with 4:27 left in the fourth quarter. He scored 11 points in the game, finishing the game with 1,313 career points.

    Oliver graduated in 2008 and played basketball at Penn State after leading Chatham to a state title in 2007.

    Ross Gang dropped 27 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Millburn in the victory. Twenty of his points came from inside the perimeter, while the other seven came from the charity stripe.

    Chris Conlin also scored 11 points for Chatham, knocking down three three-pointers.

    Varsity--Chatham 57 - West Morris Mendham 40
    MCT Quarterfinal Round

    Mac Bredahl scored 19 points to lead top-seeded Chatham to a 57-40 win over ninth-seeded Mendham in the quarterfinal round of the Morris County tournament in Chatham.

    Bredahl scored 11 points in the third quarter which helped Chatham go on a 15-4 run.

    Ryan Doherty added 14 points to the win, while Jack Rooney scored 13.

    Chahtam will face 13th-seeded Morristown in the semifinals on Saturday.

    Varsity--Chatham 68 - West Morris Central 56

    Chatham had four players reach double-digit points in its 68-56 victory over West Morris, in Chatham.

    Jack Rooney scored a team-high 15 points for Chatham. Chris Conlin and Ryan Doherty each had 14 points. Mac Bredahl finished with 11 points.

    Varsity--Chatham 45 - West Morris Mendham 27

    Ryan Doherty led Chatham with 12 points in its 45-27 win over Mendham in Mendham.

    Jack Rooney added 10 points in the win.

    Connor Murphy scored 11 points for Mendham

    Varsity--Chatham 62 - West Morris Central 46

    Jack Rooney scored 19 points to lead top-seeded Chatham to a 62-46 victory against 17th-seeded West Morris in the second round of the Morris County Tournament in Chatham.

    Ryan Doherty and Andrew Bergman scored 12 points apiece and Marc Bredahl chipped in seven for Chatham.

    Chatham will host ninth-seeded Mendham in the quarterfinals scheduled for February 10th.

    Varsity--Chatham 72 - Voorhees 70 (2OT)

    Mac Bredahl dropped 24 points for Chatham, 11 from the free throw line, in its 72-70 double overtime win over Voorhees in Chatham.

    Chris Conlin added 13 points in the win, while Jack Rooney scored 11 points.

    Kyle Kokoskie knocked down 19 points for Voorhees, while 15 of Joey Capone's 17 points came from behind the arc. Eric Schroeter added 11 points for Voorhees.

    Varsity--Chatham 64 - Morristown 59 (2OT)

    Mac Bredahl scored 20 points, hitting three 3-pointers including the game-tying three with 22 seconds remaining in regulation, to lead Chatham to a 64-59 double-overtime victory over Morristown in Chatham.

    Chatham outscored Morristown, 8-3, in the second overtime to secure the win.

    Jack Rooney added 17 points and Daniel Baker posted 10 for Chatham.

    Duncan Wild scored a game-high 21 points with four 3-pointers, Stephen Bergeman added 16, and Ray Mundrick posted 10 for Morristown.

    Varsity--Chatham 50 - Delbarton 45

    Jack Rooney scored 17 points and Mac Bredahl added 12 points to lead Chatham to a 50-45 win over Delbarton in Chatham.

    Dan Baker, who finished with six points, made two big baskets when the game was tied with three minutes to go for Chatham.

    As for Delbarton, Jerry Jabbour tallied a game-high 19 points.

    Varsity--Chatham 58 - Montville 40

    Mac Bredahl had 17 points for Chatham in its 60-40 win over Montville in Chatham.

    Chris Conlin and Jack Rooney each had 13 points in the win.

    Joe DelloStritto had 10 points for Montville.

    Varsity--Chatham 66 - Pope John 57
    Mac Bredahl and Jack Rooney made two 3-pointers and scored 15 points apiece to lead Chatham to a comeback win over Pope John, 66-57, in Sparta.

    Chris Conlin finished with 12 points while Daniel Baker added 11 for Chatham, which trailed by 14 at the half.

    Aaron Clarke made 11 free throws on the way to a game-high 26 points while Diandre South chipped in 16 points for Pope John.

    Varsity--Chatham 65 - Morristown Beard 41

    Jack Rooney scored 19 points to push Chatham to a 56-41 win over Morristown-Beard in Chatham.

    Mac Bredahl added 13 points while Chris Conlin and Andrew Bergman scored nine points each for the Chatham.

    Justin Rodriguez led Morristown-Beard in scoring with 16 points, while Raphael Castillo tallied 12 points.

    Varsity--Chatham 60 - Parsippany Hills 37

    Jack Rooney scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half to lead Chatham to a 60-37 win over Parsippany Hills in Chatham. Daniel Baker added 13 points in the win, while Mac Bridal scored 12.

    Varsity--Montgomery 43 - Chatham 42

    Kevin Fromelt led Montgomery with 17 points in a narrow 43-42 win over Chatham in the Jar of Hope Charity Classic at County College of Morris in Randolph.

    Kyle Howard netted 12 points for Montgomery, which held off a 21-18 rally by Chatham in the fourth quarter.

    Ryan Doherty led Chatham with 14 points. Daniel Baker added 12 points in the loss.

    Varsity--Chatham 65 - West Morris Mendham 45

    Mac Bredahl hit seven three pointers and had 32 points to lead Chatham to a 65-46 win owe Mendham in Chatham.

    Chatham built a 33-19 lead in the first half. Ryan Doherty racked up 14 points and Jack Rooney added nine in the win.

    Connor Murphy recorded 25 points for Mendham in the effort.

    Varsity--Chatham 63 - Morristown 53

    Mac Bredahl netted 19 points to lead Chatham past Morristown, 63-53, in Morristown.

    Andrew Bergman and Dan Baker added 11 points each for Chatham, which led 27-22 at the half.

    For Morristown, Steve Leung drained a game-high 22 points and Stephen Bergeman finished with 19.

    Both teams combined to make 34 free throws in the contest.

    Varsity--Chatham 78 - Somerville 52

    Mac Bredahl scored 21 points and Jack Rooney added 17 to lead Chatham. to a 78-52 decision over Somerville in the round robin Cougar Classic in Chatham.

    Andrew Bergman delivered nine points for Chatham. Ethan Hilliman's 16 points paced Somerville.

    Varsity--New Providence 55 - Chatham 44

    Dylan Bedder had 15 points and 14 rebounds in New Providence's 54-44 win over Chatham in the second round of the Cougar Classic in Chatham.

    Greg Meyers and Sean Dillon had 13 and 12 points in the win, respectively.

    Varsity--Chatham 87 - Mount Olive 40

    Jack Rooney hit eight 3-pointers and finished with 29 points as Chatham defeated Mount Olive, 87-40, in the Cougar Classic in Chatham.

    Mac Bredahl poured in 21 points and hit three shots from behind the three-point arc while Ryan Doherty hit three 3-pointers en route to a 16-point showing.

    Varsity--Chatham 55 - Mountain Lakes 44

    Ryan Doherty scored 15 points to lead Chatham over Mountain Lakes, 55-44, in Mountain Lakes.

    Mac Bredahl finished with 13 points while Daniel Baker added 10 for Chatham, which led by 15 at the half.

    Jack Rooney had nine points while Kurt Sacco added six for Chatham.

    Jake Marshall scored a game-high 20 points while Jack Baker added eight for Mountain Lakes.

    Mac Bredahl finished with a team-high 25 points for Chatham in its 62-59 upset-victory over No. 20 ranked Union Catholic in Chatham.

    Ryan Doherty added eight points, EJ Leskauskas chipped in seven points, and Andrew Bergman and Jack Rooney chipped in six points apiece for Chatham.

    Varsity--Delbarton 61 - Chatham 51

    Jaedon Khubani tallied 13 points as Delbarton defeated Chatham, 61-51, in Morristown.

    Two other Green Wave players eclipsed the double-digit point mark in Jacob Sussman and Gianni Vinci, who both tallied 11 points. Jerry Jabbour collected nine points while Jack Baker added eight.

    Ryan Doherty paced Chatham with 11 points. Chris Conlin followed with nine points as both Mac Bredahl and Andrew Bergman collected eight points.
