    Varsity--West Morris Central 3 - Chatham 2

    Michael Scanlon hit a leadoff single in the bottom of the ninth inning, scoring the game-winning run on a bases-loaded walk to give top-seeded West Morris, No. 17 in the NJ.com Top 20, the win over ninth-seeded Chatham, 3-2, in the quarterfinal round of the North Jersey, Section 2, Group 3 tournament in Chester.

    Kevin Kennedy drew the walk-off walk for West Morris (23-6), which scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to force extra innings following several Chatham errors in the field.

    Varsity--Delbarton 5 - Chatham 0

     

    Anthony Volpe had three hits with a triple and three RBI to lead Delbarton, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, to a 5-0 win over Chatham in Chatham.

    Varsity--Chatham 4 - Parsippany Hills 2

     

    Ben Gorski went 1-for-1 with a run and an RBI to help Chatham (7-7) earn a 4-2 victory over Parsippany Hills (7-5) in Chatham.

    Tyler Tornberg allowed two hits over five innings with one walk and five strikeouts, while Logan Rooney and Andrew Bergman each had a hit apiece with an RBI for Chatham.

    Varsity--Chatham 11 - Morris Catholic 1

     

    Ben Gorski earned the win for Chatham in four innings, giving up seven hits, one earned run with nine strikeouts and no walks in an 11-1 victory over Morris Catholic in Chatham Township.

    Matt Connolly closed out the game pitching the last inning giving up no hits with two strikeouts and no walks for Chatham.

    Varsity--Delbarton 5 - Chatham 1

     

    Raj Sharma threw six innings of two-hit ball with five strikeouts, one run and one walk for Delbarton, No. 1 in the NJ.com Top 20, in its 5-1 victory over Chatham in Morristown.

    Delbarton (12-3) scored four of its five runs in the third.

    Aidan Kane plated three runs to lead the offensive effort in the win. Mark Darakjy had the other RBI.

    Anthony Gonzalez earned the loss on the hill for Chatham (5-7).

    Varsity--Chatham 8 - Roxbury 2

     

    Andrew Bergman was 2-for-3 with three RBI and two runs scored for Chatham in an 8-2 win against Roxbury in Chatham.

    Tyler Tornberg was the winning pitcher going four innings allowing just one earned run for Chatham (5-6).

    Sean Lee was 2-for-3 with two RBI and two runs scored.

    Roxbury falls to 6-7 with the loss.

    Varsity--Chatham 7 - Morristown Beard 4

     

    Andrew Bergman had two RBI to lead Chatham to a 7-4 win over Morristown-Beard in Chatham. Ryan Drum added two hits in the win for Chatham (4-6).

    Will Webster scored two runs for Morristown-Beard (4-6).

    Varsity--Morristown 4 - Chatham 3

     

    Joe Pucek was 2-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored as Morristown defeated Chatham, 4-3, at TD Bank Ballpark in Bridgewater.

    Pat Montfort went 2-for-4 with a RBI and Aidan Watson was 1-for-3 with two runs for Morristown (4-4). Andrew Flores (1-1) struck out three in 2 1/3 scoreless innings of relief, allowing four hits and no walks.

    Andrew Bergman was 2-for-3 with a RBI and Thomas Lamar went 2-for-3 for Chatham (3-6). Ben Gorski and Tyler Tornberg struck out six batters apiece.

    Varsity--Pope John 2 - Chatham 1

     

    Trevor Befumo hit a walk-off single scoring Jimmy Brennan for Pope John in a 2-0 win against Chatham in Sparta.

    Mateo Sarabia pitched seven innings allowing four hits and one run to get the win.

    Luke Chenault hit a home run in the second inning to start the scoring before Chatham tied it up in the third. Both teams remained scoreless until the walk-off hit.

    Pope John remains undefeated (9-0) while Chatham falls to 3-4.

    Varsity--Hanover Park 7 - Chatham 5

     

    John Ruccio went 2-for-3 with an RBI and three runs Dylan O'Donnell doubled, scored, and drove in two runs for Hanover Park, which topped Chatham, 7-5, in Chatham. Michael Ferrone also tripled, singled, and had an RBI for Hanover Park (3-3), which tallied nine hits. Frank Ciccone also earned the win pitching 3 and 2/3 innings with two unearned runs, a walk, a hit, and a strikeout.

    Chatham (3-2) rallied for two runs in sixth to cut the deficit.

    Varsity--Chatham 7 - Randolph 2

    Owen Walewander went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Ben Gorski went 3-for-4 with three runs scored as Chatham beat Randolph, 7-2, in Chatham. Andrew Bergman singled twice and scored twice and Logan Rooney doubled and drove in two more runs for Chatham (3-1), while Tyler Tornberg earned the win going four innings giving up two unearned runs, four hits, and three walks with four strikeouts. Eric Recchia singled and drove in two runs to lead Randolph (1-3).

    Varsity--Chatham 11 - Bernards 1

     

    Andrew Bergman drove in three runs and scored twice when Chatham defeated Bernards 11-1 in Chatham. Owen Walewander and Logan Rooney each went 2-for-2 with one RBI for Chatham (2-1). Ryan Drum scored two runs and hit two singles with one RBI.

    Varsity--Madison 5 - Chatham 3

     

    Walter Brownlee and Vincent Costa each smacked two-out run-scoring singles in the bottom of the fourth inning to help Madison edge Chatham, 5-3, in Madison.

    Brownlee broke a 2-2 with a single to go up by one and Costa followed with a two-run single to make it 5-2. Chatham tacked on a run in the top of the seventh.

    Costa also hit a triple and scored in the game. Will Hart singled and scored two runs and Brownlee and Max Morales also crossed home as well. On the mound, pitcher Matt Monoghan earned the win going 6 2/3 innings allowing three runs on eight hits and two walks with four strikeouts.

    Jack Melvin came in on relief and recorded the save.

    For Chatham, Andrew Bergman went 2-for-4 and drove in two runs. Owen Walewander singled and doubled and notched an RBI and Ben Krill added two hits in three tries and scored.
