• Sample Letters for Withdrawal of Application

    Some colleges and universities ask you to fill out a form online withdrawing your application.  Others may send you a postcard to mail back.  If you have not received a directive from the school, send the school a letter, mailed or faxed. Alternatively, if you have been in contact with someone from Admissions through e-mail, it is also sufficient.  Below are two examples of simple, polite sample letters declining an admissions offer, adapt the letter appropriately for e-mail.
