    {Creative Problem Solving classroom philosophy}

    Creative Problem Solving is not about always being correct.  Our class is about trying new and creative ideas, learning from our mistakes, and working together to find the value in each other as important resources.  By following these simple guidelines we will have fun, discover our own strengths and learn how to look towards one another to assist us in working out our own weaknesses.   During our time together we will learn the design process, the skills that go along with it and how to apply it so we can create solutions to a variety of challenges!

    {classroom & work expectation}

    1. Classroom safety is a priority,  so appropriate tool use and behavior are always being monitored.

    2. Folders will be kept in our classroom to ease organization struggles but pencils are a MUST each day!  No pens please.

    3. Computers are for course-‐related purposes only and are to be used ONLY during allotted time.

    4. When clean up time is signaled you must do so immediately!  It can get pretty messy in here!

    5. You are responsible for making up any unfinished work due to an absence by the given assignment date, unless an alternate date has been established between you and the teacher.

    6. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes!  Failure to make mistakes = a failure to learn and create new ideas!
