Change of Dismissal Procedures
In the event of emergencies only, you may email a change of dismissal information to the main office staff Mrs. Citron and Mrs. McHugh at LAF Main Office before 1:00 p.m. Do not send an email to the teachers for an emergency change of dismissal. This information cannot be taken over the phone.
Early Pick Up
Early student pick-ups between 3:00 and 3:15 are discouraged and should be avoided. At this time of day, a number of students are in applied music. The classrooms and the office are extremely busy which will result in significant delays resulting in extended wait times for parents picking up students.
The essential intent of Lafayette School is to foster social emotional growth while working to develop intellectual independence in conventional, creative, and innovative ways.
The essential intent of the Office of Curriculum & Instruction is to promote and ensure clarity, equity, purpose, and coherence in district curricular and instructional programming.
Our programs and staff pages will provide you with resources and an overview of each program offered at Lafayette School. All of our programs are developed using the Common Core Standards and the District Curriculum. Our teachers then construct their daily lessons using best practices which engage and inspire our students to excel beyond their potential.
