What is ChASE?

ChASE (Chatham Association for Special Education) is a Chatham, NJ district-wide parent group focusing on special services. The group consists of:
  • one or two parent representatives from each school in the district
  • one or two parent representatives of children who attend out-of-district special education programs
  • the assistant superintendent of student support services, Dr. Vincent D'Elia
  • other members of the Department of Special Services
ChASE hosts general meetings several times during the school year. Informal support coffees are held several times a year by ChASE PTO reps. Notices are sent via the schools; contact the ChASE representative(s) at your school for details.

You can email ChASE at our email address chase07928@gmail.com.

ChASE posts a monthly newsletter on our website, which announces our meetings and lists other nearby meetings and programs of interest.

ChASE also has an email list, to which we send ChASE meeting reminders, important news, and occasional updates to the newsletter. Sign up by sending an email to chase07928@gmail.com. All names and email addresses are kept confidential and are only used to send you information.
