The blog has a number of terrific entries about how to perform certain tasks, where to find interesting content, and links to useful websites.

Kindergarten to Fifth Grade Students May Now Use netTrekker.com
In the interest of keeping our students safe online, the School District of the Chathams has purchased a subscription to the kid-safe search engine netTrekker.

Students will use this search engine in school, but we encourage you to use it at home as well because all links, images, and resources provided by netTrekker have been reviewed by teachers for content and quality. Images will be appropriate to the search and never inappropriate for student viewing.

Children will be given the username and password at school, but if you want to get a head start, use the initials of your child's school for the username. Ask your child what password is used with the computers at school--we use the same password for netTrekker.
